Procession and Hymn for Palm Sunday composed by Craig Courtney. For SATB choir. Sacred. Octavo. Published by Beckenhorst Press. BP.1536. During the procession section of this Palm Sunday anthem, each section of the choir enters singing a different phrase from the nineteenth chapter of Luke. As musical forces and dynamics are added there is a growing sense of excitement that is reminiscent of the crowd scene of the gospel passage. Finally, the selection breaks into a celebrative setting of ELLACOMBE, complete with children's and adult choir, congregation, brass, percussion and handbells.
