In this version of Christmas Is Coming, the traditional Chorus is intact, but the composer has created his own verse tune and four-part harmony with humorous interpolations by the bass Voices. Walford Davies was a composer and musical director at the University of Wales as well as Organist at, among others, Temple Church in London where his student Leopold Stokowski. later one of the leading conductors of the 20th century. assisted him.
