Donna Pena's first recording established her as one of the most exciting new songwriters for the Hispanic church. Utilizing Salsa, Guaguanco, Carribbean, and Calypso rhythms, Pena combines both traditional and non-traditional Hispanic forms with a Latin American influence. This music may be easily performed with a single guitar or with a full complement of rhythm instruments. Flute and piano parts are provided for selected works.
