The intro is completely wrong. It's written in 5/4 time, it loses all sense of musicality and time when structured in 4/4. The very input Ginger Baker had in the arrangement of this piece was to turn Jack Bruce's melody backwards and place a 5/4 time restraint on it. The intro and reiteration of that piece throughout the song requires a shift from 4/4 to 5/4 and back again. There's a crash and B. drum on 1, then four 16th notes played on the 2 across the first and second time (in sequence), then an 8th note played on the 4, let of 4 and 5. Those 8th notes are also to be played across the first and second toms, although I prefer to play all of these notes on the same tom per bar.
