        E B/D#
Turn me loose from your hands

Home along the lanes of the skyway

Of the world outside
         E/B
Thinking of the way

That the wind can turn the tide

According to a Songs of Bernie Taupin/Elton John songbook the song is played with a capo at the third fret and the first chord is "C." I suppose that makes is in the key of E flat or D sharp.
