I tuned the A string down to G and it seems to work. I know its a strange
tuning but check it all out & judge for yourself. Several parts are

The reason the G works so well is because the tuning is open G, like Elephants.

That's just it, The low E would be tuned to D if I was playing the open G tuning. They play the ending of this song with a droning E during the higher fretwork, so just tuning the A to G will be best.
